Systems Administrator
Job DescriptionMust be local to Kentucky or open to relocate.
BASIC PURPOSE:
The primary role for this position is to ensure uptime for all production systems in a manufacturing environment.
As such, this role is responsible for installing, upgrading, and maintaining all network, server/storage infrastructure and all end user hardware (desktops, laptops, etc.
) Additionally, this position is responsible for managing and supporting all server/client operating systems as well as adherence to all IS policies and procedures as required by client (auditing, BCP/DR, security, etc.
).
BASIC DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Manage all local server/storage infrastructure (install, migrate, maintain, etc.
) Manage local network systems including Cisco LAN equipment and Fortinet Wireless Responsible for all local desktop and laptop deployments and ongoing support.
Manage Active Directory, group policies, DNS, DHCP, local file/print servers, network printers, etc.
Ensure company standards are adhered to in configuration and documentation of systems.
Provide end user support for Office 365, Teams, RDS, remote VPN connections, etc.
Provide on-call support for all manufacturing production systems as needed.
Provide reporting and updates to management and associates.
Other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Associate's degree with two IT related certifications plus 5
years related technical experience including 3
years managing related systems Minimum of 3 years of server/storage (Dell/EMC) support experience including at least 3 years in PC Support Minimum of 3 years of experience with Cisco LAN administration, VMware/ESXi administration, and MS Active Directory administration Experience with TCP/IP networking, VLANs, DHCP, DNS & Wireless Team oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to manage time and tasks efficiently Strong attention to detail as well as outstanding organizational skills Pay transparency is important in creating a fair and equal workplace.
While the typical salary range for this position is $70,000 to $72,000, the final compensation offered by the hiring company will be based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
